We offer defensive driving the every other Saturday. If this day is a holiday, please call our office for the alternate class date. All classes are from 9am to 3:30pm (6-1/2 hours with a 1/2 hour lunch break) and is State-approved. (Click here to see the class schedule.)
Most major auto insurance companies offer a discount for taking Defensive Driving. Be sure to ask your insurer how much you can save by completing our State-approved Defensive Driving Course.
Fee for the Course: The fee for the six (6) hour class is $ 25. The fee must be paid in full at time of registration. You may pay by cash, local check or money order.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be made to any student who cancels the enrollment contract within 72 hours of the contract signing excluding Saturday, Sunday and legal holidays, unless the student has successfully completed the course or received a failing grade on the course examination.
Refund Policy: All tuition and
fees paid are due and refundable when:
(A) the course of instruction is discontinued by the school, preventing a
student from completing the course
(B) the enrollment of the student was procured as a result of any
misrepresentation in advertising, promotional materials of the school or course
provider or representation made by the owner or employee of the school or course
provider.
All refunds will be completed within thirty (30) days after the effective date
of enrollment termination
Attendance Policy: A student must attend the complete 6 clock hour course including all phases of the approved school curriculum and final exam in order to receive a certificate of completion.
Grading and Progress Policy: A student may not be certified or given credit for a drug and alcohol driving awareness course unless a student scores 70% or higher on the final exam. Alternative testing techniques for students with reading, hearing or learning handicaps and policies for retesting students who score less than 70% will be as follows: (A) Review the material; (B) Translate if necessary; (C) retest, verbally if necessary.
Retesting Policy: A student failing the final exam will be given the opportunity to retest upon returning any materials associated with the course. any student failing the retest must retake the 6 hour drug and alcohol driving awareness course and pass the final exam in order to receive a certificate of completion.
Rules of Operation and Conduct: A student or prospective student may be dismissed or barred from the class for tardiness, drunkenness or consumption of alcohol on the premise; rude or disruptive behavior in the classroom, smoking in the classroom; or being generally inattentive (sleeping, reading materials not contained in the course of instruction, etc.) during class.
Identification Policy: Students will be required to show a photo ID prior to registration and receiving a certificate of completion to verify identity.
Duplicate Certificate Policy: The Texas Education Agency will provide duplicate certificates for students. Persons requesting duplicates will submit a form provided by the TEA along with a check or money order for $ 10.
